Daily Recap:
I was only able to take a short walk through the Town Forest today due to plans for the rest of the day, but I still made the effort to get out there.
Most of the same migrants are still around and have likely settled in for the season now that they’ve found their breeding grounds.
I wanted to highlight the Field Sparrow, because I can’t help but notice this little guy singing his heart out in the same spot every single day. Without fail, he's there at my arrival, delivering that cheerful ping-pong-ball-drop song—and I never get tired of hearing it.
It was a beautiful morning, and while I wish I could’ve stayed longer, I’m happy with my 38 species in 47 minutes.
