Daily Recap:
I was on a bit of a time crunch today, so I wasn’t able to stay long. Luckily, it wasn’t all that active. With a lot of people out fishing on the pond, I didn’t mind keeping the visit short.
It was the usual suspects, but I wanted to highlight Northern Rough-winged Swallow. I don’t see them every day, but today I had great views as they were flying right on the edge of the pond, calling back and forth.
There’s a decent amount of rain in the forecast for tomorrow, so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get out. My plan is to wake up for the final sunrise of the month, but we’ll see how bad the rain is when the time comes.
